If you're using Chrome, click the icon at the top right that looks like three vertical dots. A dropdown menu will appear. On it, click "Settings," then scroll to the bottom and click "Show advanced settings...". Under "Privacy" click "Site Settings" and a small window will appear. Scroll down to "Pop-ups." Click "Allow all sites to show pop-ups," then  try the database again.

If you're using Firefox, click the icon at the top right that looks like three horizontal lines. A dropdown menu will appear. On it, click "Options" then click "Privacy & Security" on the left-hand menu. Scroll down to "Permissions" and uncheck the "Block pop-up windows" box and try the database again.

If you're using Internet Explorer, click the icon at the top right that looks like a gear or wheel. A dropdown menu will appear. On it, click "Internet Options" and a small window will pop up with the Internet Options. Click on the "Privacy" tab at the top and then click the box next to "Turn on Pop-up Blocker." Click "OK" and try the database again.

If you're using Safari, go to the Safari menu and click "Preferences" from the drop down menu. A small window will appear. Click on "Security" on the top row. Uncheck the the "Block pop-up windows" box then try the database again.

Remember to turn your pop-up blocker back on after completing your research session.
