DRM, or Digital Rights Management, is a technology designed to prevent copyrighted material from being shared or copied digitally.
In the library DRM is most relevant to our library eBooks. Many publishers and platform providers impose restrictions on library eBook content. The restrictions are determined by the publisher or copyright holder.
Essentially it means you may be limited to a certain number of pages on printing and copying eBooks, and that you will have to download DRM software such as Adobe Digital Editions to download some library eBooks.
