How do I clear my browser cache/history?

For all browsers: before starting, close all tabs but one and after clearing your cache, close the browser and reopen.

If you're using Chrome, click the icon at the top right that looks like three stacked dots. A drop-down menu will appear. Click "History" and "History" again in the new small window. On the left of the screen, click "Clear browsing data". Using the "Basic" tab, make sure the boxes labeled "Browsing History," "Cookies and other site data," and "Cached images and files" are checked. Choose the "Time range" to clear and click the "Clear Data" button. Close all tabs and reopen.

If you're using Firefox,click the icon at the top right that looks like three horizontal lines. A drop-down menu will appear. Click "History" and "Clear Recent History" A small window will pop up with several options. Choose the "Time range to clear" and select the options you like, but make sure the boxes labeled "Browsing & Download History," "Form & Search History," "Cookies," and "Cache" are checked. After you've made your selections, click "OK". Close all tabs and reopen.

If you're using Internet Explorer, click the icon at the top right that looks like a gear or wheel. A drop-down menu will appear. On it, click "Internet Options" and a small window will pop up with the Internet Options. Under the section "Browsing History," click the "Delete..." button. A window called "Delete Browsing History" will pop up. You can select whichever options you like, but make sure the boxes for "Temporary Internet files and website files," "Cookies and website data," "History," and "Download History" are selected. After you've made your selections, click the "Delete" button. Close all tabs and reopen.

If you're using Safari, go to the Safari menu bar and click "History" and "Clear History". Select how far back you want your browsing history cleared and click "Clear History". Close all tabs and reopen.
