A current Alumni Association membership letter or email and photo ID must be presented at the Help Desk to receive a Courtesy Card to access borrowing privileges as a UT Tyler Alumni. Proof of residency in one of the following counties is required: Smith, Wood, Henderson, Upshur, Rusk, Cherokee, Anderson, Gregg, Henderson, or Van Zandt.
Borrowing privileges include:
- Checkouts up to 10 books for one week with one renewal
- Curriculum Material Lab - limited to 3 books for one week with one renewal
- Bestsellers - limited to 5 books for one week with one renewal
- Media - in-library use only
- Interlibrary loan privileges are not available
Other services:
- Use of public computers
- In-library database access from one of the library's public computers
- Use of non-secure Wi-Fi (Patriot*Air)
- Printing is .10 per page or side for black and white, .50 per page or side for color
Alumni not meeting the residency requirement may request a Computer Use Card to gain access to a public computer, online databases, and printing.
