You can access and read ebrary ebooks on any computer connected to the internet without downloading or installing any special software. However, if you would like to download an ebook for offline reading or to transfer to an eReader device follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Download and install Adobe Digital Editions.

Step 2: Navigate to the record in ebrary for the eBook you want to download.

Step 3: If you are off campus you should be prompted to login with your Patriots credentials before viewing the record in Step 2. If you are on campus, you may have to sign in with your Patriots credentials using the link in the upper right hand corner of the record.

Step 4: Once you have signed in, click the Download button.

Step 5: An Export and Download pop up box will appear with a few options. You can download a portion of the book to a PDF document, which will not expire or require Adobe Digital Editions for viewing. To download the entire book select the radio button next to "Download the entire document..." then press OK.

Step 6: If the download is successful you should be able to open the document in Adobe Digital Editions. However, not all ebrary eBooks are available for download. You may get the following message.

Unavailable error message

Step 7: If you are unable to download the entire book, you can go back to the Export and Download box and select individual chapters for PDF export.
