Where can I study with my group?

Muntz Library provides a variety of study spaces including group and collaborative study areas.  The second and third floors of the Library are designated “Social Zones” with various types of seating and study tables available throughout. 

Below is a general layout of the third floor:

 

Three group study rooms, which comfortably seat five to six people, are available for check out. A minimum of three people must be present at the Circulation Desk in order to check out a group room.  Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.  Checkout is for three hours with one renewal allowed based on availability.  Group study rooms are located on the third floor.

The Library offers two large rooms for presentation practice.  These rooms are located on the second and fourth floors.  Reservations are not required but are advisable.  Two hour reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance by contacting Circulation staff in person or by phone at 903.566.7342.  One check out per group, per day is allowed.  One two hour renewal per group is allowed based on availability. 

Two study pods are available on the second floor.  Seating in study pods varies from four to six people.  Pods are available on a first come, first served basis.  

The fourth floor periodicals area is a Quiet Zone.
