I am not a current student, faculty or staff member of UT Tyler. Can I use the computers in the library?

The Library offers two community use computers on the second floor of the Library.  A current Computer Use or Courtesy Card and a photo ID are required each visit.  Cards can be obtained at the Help Desk at no charge.

Public access computers are available on a first come, first served basis.  A one-hour time limit is observed when others are waiting.  If a UT Tyler student needs a computer, a public patron will be asked to relinquish use in favor of the student and the one-hour time limit does not apply.

Please see Borrowing Privileges - Community Borrowers or call the Help Desk at 903-566-7342 for more information.

Note: "By logging onto a library computer, the user agrees to observe all Library Computer Use Policies, in addition to related UT Tyler and UT System policies regarding information resources and computers." (UT Tyler Library Computer Use Policy, n.d.)
