What is an EBSCOhost Account? How do I create one?

An EBSCO account can be used to save your search history, download EBSCO ebooks, or save and take notes on articles that you've found in EBSCO databases like SwoopSearch, Academic Search Complete, Business Source Complete, CINAHL Complete, and many more.

To create one go into any EBSCO database like the ones mentioned above, or do a search in SwoopSearch.

Once you are in click the Sign In or Folder link on the top right toolbar.

If you clicked the folder from SwoopSearch you will need to click Sign in to MyEBSCOhost.

Next, click Create a New Account.

Enter the required information and click Save Changes.

NOTE: Your My EBSCOhost Account is in no way affiliated with your PatriotID. If you change the password for your PatriotID, your My EBSCOhost credentials will not change. You will still have to sign in with your PatriotID to access EBSCO databases from off campus.
