How do I get past an Application Level Exception error message to access my EBSCO folder and checkouts?

When I try to access an eBook in my My Checkouts folder I get the following error message:

Application Level Exception
To continue with the session, go back to the previous page.

Answer

This can occassionally happen when you are using the MyEBSCOhost My Checkouts or folder feature, especially on a Mac computer. To fix it, clear your cache and cookies and try again accessing the database or resource starting from the library homepage.
