Who May Access the Databases Remotely

Off-campus access to the Library's databases and other online resources is limited to University affiliated users:

• Currently enrolled UT Tyler students (undergraduate and graduate students)

• Current UT Tyler faculty

• Current UT Tyler staff

Password Protected Access

University users can access the databases remotely by logging in (when prompted) using their Patriot ID and current Patriot password.

Note: Your Patriots ID and password is the login used to access your Blackboard, and myUTTyler accounts, as well as the library databases.

All University users (UT Tyler students, faculty and staff) have Patriots accounts.

New University Users

If you are a new University user you will need to activate your Patriots account before attempting remote access.

To do so,

• Go to My Patriot Account

• Click the Patriot*Sync Login button

• Follow the prompts to activate your account
